Shadhiliyya Sufi Center Organization

The national tariqa and some communities have been moving toward organizing in circles and using a consent based decision-making process over the past 8-9 months. Below are circles which have formed and are working on various tasks and issues critical to our growth and ability to achieve our vision for the future. Please read more about what each circle is working on.

Every beloved is welcomed and encouraged to participate in the administration and development of our community. Please feel free to contact any of the circle moderators for more information about circle activities and what gifts you have to contribute.

  • Communications Circle   ( 4 Articles )

The Communications Circle formed in December 2007 in response to the partial closing of our main offices to conserve financial resources. A group of beloveds organized to work on making sure communication continued for the tariqa as a whole, using whatever vehicles existed or could be created using volunteers. A small, dedicated group emerged and has developed a monthly bulletin, quarterly newsletter and this new website.  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Sidi's Prayer

As Sidi was leaving the land today (12-1-11) he said a prayer for the Center in Arabic then he said in English:

“I pray that Allah protect this place, I pray that Allah gives support to this place, I pray that Allah gives yearning to the people, I pray that Allah gives protection to this holy place and all the people (who come here).   I love this place more than any other place and want other people to love this place, care about this place, help this place with excellence and perfect work.”

Later he said: “This is the first place I built in all of America, you understand.  I love this place from the deepest place in my heart.  and I call all the people to help this place so that it is always full with the beloveds and to care and to see this place filled up with the lovers of Allah more and more and more in every season.  This is my word.  This is the truth.”
