When you reach what I say in the witness world, in the essence of the witness, when you reach this station, then you know Who moves these things. From where? Not from the person but from Allah. You see yourself moving and making, but when you go through these things to see everything from Allah, then the important thing when you reach this station is that there is no presence – only He. This is what I mean by rub (erase) yourself; do not keep anything. If you keep anything then you cannot reach what I say. You could not see from the station of the witnessing (ash-shahud al-mutlak). When you reach this station then you come to be from the knowers (al-arifin).
